  • Third Degree Grand Larceny – Under New York Penal Law 155.35 is the attempt to steal or successful theft of $3,000 to $50,000.
  • Second Degree Grand Larceny – Under New York State Penal Law 155.40 is the attempt or successful theft of at least $50,000 but less than $1 million.
  • First Degree Grand Larceny – Under New York Penal Law 155.2 is the attempt or successful theft of over $1 million.

Depending on the amount you attempted to steal or stole, your sentence could be anywhere from 15 to 25 years in prison. You could also be subjected to heavy fines.
